Terms of Service
Last updated: 19 August 2026
These Terms govern your use of the RYDR mobile app and services (“RYDR”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account or using RYDR, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use RYDR.
1. Who can use RYDR
You must be at least 13 years old — or the minimum age required for online services where you live (for example, 16 in parts of the EU) — to use RYDR. By using RYDR you confirm you meet this requirement and can enter into these Terms.
2. Your account
- You sign in with your mobile number, verified by a one-time SMS code. Keep access to that number secure.
- You are responsible for the activity that happens under your account.
- Provide accurate profile information and keep it current. Don’t impersonate others or misrepresent your affiliation with a club.
- One person, one account. Don’t share your account or transfer it without our consent.
3. Community rules
RYDR is a community for riders. To keep it that way, you agree not to:
- Post content that is unlawful, hateful, harassing, threatening, or that infringes others’ rights.
- Harass, bully, dox, or impersonate other riders.
- Spam, scam, or post misleading, fraudulent, or purely promotional content.
- Encourage illegal or dangerous road behaviour.
- Upload malware, attempt to breach security, scrape the service, or disrupt others’ use of it.
We may remove content and suspend or terminate accounts that break these rules.
4. Your content
You keep ownership of the photos, posts, comments, ride logs, and other content you create. By posting to RYDR, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, display, and distribute that content within the app so we can operate the service and show it to the community. This licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies retained in routine backups or where others have already re-shared it within the app.
You are responsible for the content you post and confirm you have the rights to share it.
5. Groups, events, and verification
- Anyone can create a group; group owners and admins are responsible for how their group is run and moderated.
- Events, meetups, and rides listed on RYDR are organised by users, not by RYDR.
- A “verified” badge indicates we reviewed a club at our discretion. It is not an endorsement, and we may grant or revoke it at any time.
6. Moderation and termination
We may remove content, limit features, or suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or harm the community or the service. You may stop using RYDR and delete your account at any time (see our Privacy Policy for data deletion).
7. Third-party services
RYDR runs on infrastructure provided by Google Firebase and is distributed through the Apple App Store and Google Play. Your use of those services is also subject to their respective terms.
8. Rides, meetups, and your safety
RYDR helps riders connect and plan — but riding is an inherently risky real-world activity, and you take part in any ride, event, or meetup at your own risk. Except for events RYDR expressly organises itself (see section 8A), RYDR does not organise, supervise, vet, or guarantee any ride, route, event, group, or the people you meet through the app. You are solely responsible for your own conduct and safety, for obeying all traffic and licensing laws, for wearing appropriate safety gear, and for assessing whether any ride or person is safe for you. To the fullest extent permitted by law, RYDR is not liable for any injury, loss, or damage arising from rides, events, meetups, or interactions between users.
8A. Partner events and registration (including the Iron RYDR Challenge)
RYDR promotes and takes registrations for riding events organised by partner clubs. The Iron RYDR Challenge is hosted and organised by Moto Heads, the partner club running the event. These terms apply to any such event in addition to the rest of this document.
- The host club is the organiser. The partner club — for the Iron RYDR Challenge, Moto Heads — organises and runs the event, sets and enforces its rules, conducts scrutineering and flag-off, and is responsible for the conduct of the event. RYDR provides the platform and handles registration; RYDR does not organise, supervise, or run the event itself and does not vet or guarantee it.
- Your agreement is with the host club. By registering you also accept the host club's own rules and any additional terms, waivers, or declarations it requires — including any it asks you to sign in person at flag-off. Questions about the event itself should go to the host club — for the Iron RYDR Challenge, reach Moto Heads at @motoheads.riders.community.
- It is not a race. These are endurance events, to be completed within posted speed limits and all applicable traffic law. There is no prize for finishing first. Riding unlawfully, including exceeding any speed limit, is grounds for immediate disqualification.
- You take part entirely at your own risk. Long-distance riding carries real risks of injury and death, including from fatigue. You confirm that you are medically fit to take part, that you have assessed those risks, and that you accept them. You should obtain your own insurance.
- You remain responsible for your own safety and conduct at all times, including obeying all traffic and licensing laws, wearing appropriate safety gear, resting adequately, and deciding whether it is safe to continue. You must withdraw if you are unfit to ride on.
- Eligibility. You must be 18 or older and hold a valid motorcycle driving licence, with valid registration, insurance and pollution certification for a roadworthy motorcycle. These may be verified in person, and entry may be refused or withdrawn at the organiser's discretion.
- The event may change or be cancelled. The host club may alter an event's route, dates or rules, disqualify a participant, or cancel it entirely, at any time — including for weather, road conditions, permissions, or safety. RYDR may also stop accepting registrations at any time.
- Liability. To the fullest extent permitted by law, RYDR is not liable for any injury, death, loss, or damage arising from your participation in, travel to or from, or withdrawal from any partner event, nor for the acts or omissions of the host club. Nothing in these terms excludes any liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
Registering for a partner event means you have read and accepted this section, and that you agree we may pass your registration details to the host club so it can run the event (see our Privacy Policy). If you do not accept this, please do not register or take part.
9. Disclaimers
RYDR is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that content posted by users is accurate or reliable.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, RYDR and its team will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of — or inability to use — the service.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as RYDR evolves. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Continuing to use RYDR after changes take effect means you accept them.
12. Governing law & contact
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Questions about these Terms? Email rydr.com@gmail.com.
