Delete Your Account

You can delete your RYDR account and personal data at any time. This page explains how to request deletion and exactly what is removed.

How to request deletion

Email rydr.com@gmail.com from a device where you are signed in, or include your @username and the phone number registered to your account so we can verify the request. Use the subject line “Delete my RYDR account.”

We verify every request against the account owner before deleting, so that no one can delete an account that isn’t theirs.

What gets deleted

When your deletion request is processed, we permanently remove:

Your profile — name, @username, city/region, bio, and motorcycles.
Your phone number and account credentials.
Your profile photo and other media you uploaded.
Your posts, captions, comments, reactions/kudos, and ride logs.
Groups you own (and their content), and your memberships in other groups.
Events you created, and your RSVPs.

What may be retained

We may keep a limited amount of information where the law requires it, or to resolve disputes and enforce our agreements — for example, records needed to comply with legal obligations. Any retained data is kept only as long as necessary and is not used to rebuild your profile. Aggregated or anonymized data that no longer identifies you may also be retained.

How long it takes

We action deletion requests within 30 days. Backups are purged on our provider’s regular cycle shortly after.

Delete without emailing

An in-app “Delete my account” option is coming in a future update. Until then, the email request above is the fastest way to have your account removed.
